Today’s clicks!

Hello all !! I’m back from vacation from my beautiful hometown in Kerala,India! Even though June and July is the peak of monsoons in Kerala, we were lucky to get some sunny days. Kerala, as you may know is a beautiful coastal state  with lovely backwaters, coconut trees , beaches and it is no wonder called “God’s own country”. We had a great time , well spent with family and friends, delicious food and lots of shopping. Since it was just a short trip, I was mostly at home with just a road trip to Bangalore .Today’s  clicks are the ones taken from just around my home . Hope to catch up with all the posts I missed  .Currently fighting jet lag and trying to get back to normal schedule , but all said and done am glad to be back 🙂

Thank you Dippy! That picture was taken from the Wayanad ghat section also called “Thamarassery churam” on entering Kerala from Bangalore. The drive has some stunning views and about 9 hair pin bends.

      1. You counted 🙂 Well done. I find driving on roads with hair pin bends exciting. As long as I am not at the wheel of course. I shall note this down. Wayanad is beautiful I had heard but I now see it in your photo. xx

Well, as much as I enjoy the sights I am not a big fan of the hair pin bends as I tend to get sick so I was literally waiting for it to get over they have big boards counting down the bends 9, 8,7, ..and so I do remember it very well 🙂 Yes Wayanad is really scenic and beautiful

      3. I can imagine that on those winding roads you must have been hard pressed to control the sick feeling.
